Whistleblowing in Europe: EWI Summer Brief

Read the newsletter here

As summer begins, we reflect on a period marked by new milestones. From convening the European Whistleblowing Conference to marking World Whistleblower Day, EWI has advanced its work at the intersection of law, civil society, and institutional practice. The past months have reaffirmed a core principle in our work: whistleblower protection cannot rest on law alone. It must be sustained through institutional commitment, operational capacity, and cultural change. We continue to develop and deliver tools, training, and resources to support that broader transformation. In this edition of our newsletter, we share recent developments, introduce new voices in the field, and highlight resources that contribute to the evolving landscape of whistleblowing law and policy across Europe.

With appreciation,
