European Whistleblowing Conference: Whistleblowing in the AI Era | 20 October 2026 in Brussels, Belgium

The second edition of Europe's only dedicated forum on whistleblowing law and policy will take place on 20 October 2026 in Brussels, Belgium. This year's theme, "Whistleblowing in the AI Era: National Security, the Rule of Law, and Public Accountability", will address the crucial yet unexplored intersection of AI and whistleblowing.
This conference is designed for:
EU and national regulators and supervisory authorities
Policymakers and institutional actors involved in AI governance, rule of law, and national security
Legal and compliance professionals
Academics and researchers in whistleblowing law and policy, data protection, and technology governance
Civil society organizations engaged in accountability and integrity
Whistleblowers, AI employees, social partners' representatives

This event is organized by the European Whistleblowing Institute (EWI) in collaboration with The AI Whistleblower Initiative (AIWI), Centre of European Law at King's College London, The University of Göttingen, Whistleblowing International Network (WIN), NEIWA (Network of European Integrity and Whistleblowing Authorities), and the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe).
